Legal Question in Family Law in Connecticut

Lawyer will not contact me

I retained a lawyer in Feb. 2004 to

change visitation agreement. My ex

and I went to mediation in October

2004 and came up with an agreement.

I have called my lawyer and left

messages, sent letters, sent emails

and I get nothing back. The one time I

did speak to him was in Dec. 2005

when his secretary was on vacation

and he answered the phone. He said

he'd ''look into it''. He's a 1 person

firm and it's not close enough that I

could just keep dropping by his office

in the hope that I catch him there. I

don't know what to do. After the

mediation, there was no legal

document drawn up, we've not been to

court, nothing has been done.

Fortunately my ex is still abiding by

our agreement, but I'd like to have it in

writing. But, if I cannot talk to the

lawyer I retained, I'm not sure what

else to do? Thanks for any help you

can give me.

Re: Lawyer will not contact me

Hire a new lawyer, demand your money back from this guy (if you paid him anything).
