Legal Question in Family Law in Connecticut

About my lawyer

over one year I have separated .I hired a lawyer but he is giving me hard time the way he is handling my case . he does not answer my phone calls or keep me updated. I have tried to contact him so many times but he never answer my call,but today when the receptionest answered and I refused to get off the without takling to him , he picked up the phone and threaten to get me arrested for harresment and assult

I am very angry and I would like to take an action against him what should I do?.

If you no longer want this attorney to represent you then fire him. Give your file to another attorney to continue your case. You can also file a complaint about this attorney with the Bar Association in your state. Don't wait to long to find another attorney since you do not want your case harmed because of your current attorney.

You are a consumer. You wouldn't go to a restaurant or a doctor or a store that treated you this way. You have the right to seek a second (or third) opinion. Take your file to another lawyer, find out what the second lawyer has to say. Change lawyers if you want to.
