Legal Question in Family Law in Connecticut
Is there a list of really good div. atty's in CT.? preferably women, that will help for free in a divorce, is there a statewide legal assistance perhaps? i am in Enfield i just got really good advice on what i need to do from one of your atty's on ther website, my problem is i do not have a lot of money to get a div. atty to represent me and my two boy's, my husband controls the money and will not give me much and he also moved out and is living with a girlfreind, they want me to go to a mediator which i will not do.

You can call Statewide Legal Services who will evaluate you to see if you qualify for a free lawyer. If you have any access to joint funds, including credit cards, 401k monies, etc., you can always use any kind of resource to hire a lawyer.
