Legal Question in Family Law in Connecticut
I live in connecticut I paid alimony to my ex wife, then once she became engaged and bought a home with her fianc� the alimony was reduced to one dollar, she has now been laid off but still is basically supported by her fianc� can she try to get alimony increased

She can try, but (assuming this was a Connecticut divorce) there's a statute which says support supplied by someone with whom she is living is considered in a modification hearing. My guess is she'll have a tough row to hoe in seeking an increase.
