Is it legal to divorce in TN in the morning and marry again in KY in the afternoon the same day?

I'm not sure why this is a case under CT Law, but which ever state it occured in, the appeal time is an issue. Another words, one shouldn't remarry until the appeal time on their previous divorce has run.
