Legal Question in Family Law in Connecticut

Married but baby isn't my husband's baby.

I'm married but the baby isn't my husband's baby. I won't get divorce until next year not until the baby is born. What can I do to get the real father's name on the baby's birth certificate?

You should call the hospital and find out the regular procedure. You may have to have the biological father at the hospital to sign for the birth certificate.

If your husband for some reason, ends up on the birth certificate, there is a way to change it later. You may need a court order establishing paternity. There is a form that can be submitted to vital statistics to change a child's birth certificate.
