Legal Question in Family Law in Connecticut

nephew

my nephew does not pay me any rent. i let him stay at my house for free. now he has taken advantage of the situation. his friend comes over and they drink alcohol and his friend has a girlfriend that is 16. my nephew is 29 and his friend is 25. we reside in the state of connecticut. can i just ask him to leave or must i evict him?

The good news is that you can ask him to leave. The not so good news is that if he says no, then you must evict him.

However, you may have more authority to not permit his friend or his friend's girlfriend in your house since you live there also.
