Legal Question in Family Law in Connecticut
I am the non custodial father of a 6 year old in school. I went to volunteer for the school and the school declined b/c the mother said she was opposed. My visitation is every other weekend - and my understanding is that i can volunteer at the school - is this true?

I don't know what the court orders say. If you have joint legal custody then you should be allowed to volunteer at the school, unless the orders say otherwise. You may have to file a motion with the court requesting that the court order that you can volunteer, then she can't stop you.
