Re: non-custodial father

First of all, I must comment on two things.

One,the statement: "a father who has 'his own family'." This is a very disturbing statement to me. Does this father only have "one, separate family," other than the children of the father's former wife?

Secondly, what father would feel "forced" to take "his children" no matter who they were born to?

There are so many father's out there who would be grateful and honored to be "forced" to get their children, because they can not have enough time with them from no fault of their own.

That being said, NO, you can't be forced to take your children. You don't even have to take them at all if you don't want to.
