parental rights

as an unmarried father who is no longer with the mother what legal rights do I have. on my own I pay child support,my mom and i watch the baby while the mother works, the ex keeps stalking me, and demands I keep the child at my mothers home. I am in a new relationship and does not want the child anywhere around her. do I have a legal right to take the child to a new apartment to spend time with me. thank you

As the natural father, assuming that no court orders have been entered, you have a right to visitation. I assume that paternity has be acknowledged and recorded in the court. If these assumptions are correct, I would file a motion in court to establish custody and visitation issues. This will, also, generate a motion to establish child support plus any amounts owed to the State for any medical bills and support that the State has paid. I believe you need to seek a consultation with an attorney as there are many issues that are involved when a minor child is involved.
