Can a person refuse to testify in a divorce case if they have been given a subpoena?

First, you have to show up. Once there, you can invoke your right to remain silent if your testimony might tend to incriminate you (take the 5th), or seek to quash the subpoena for a variety of reasons. If neither of those is in the cards, you'll have to testify.
