Legal Question in Family Law in Connecticut

I am planning on moving out of state, and my ex boyfriend and I only have a verbal agreament for our 2 year old son. We switch weeks that we have him, but for the most part I have had him like when his father went to jail where he is now. Can I move out of state with then start a custody case or what has to be done?

You should really call a lawyer and speak with him/her about your situation, especially in light of the fact that the father is incarcerated. I think that the answer to your question may depend on the length of time he expects to be incarcerated and whether he agrees to your relocation.
