Promissary Notes

Can I have a Promissary Note modified? I would like to modify the amount I owe my ex-husband for his share of the asset in the home, reducing it by the amount of child support he owes me ($10K)

Re: Promissary Notes

You can, if he agrees. Otherwise, you would have to bring him to court on a contempt and have the court offset the child support against the note.
