Legal Question in Family Law in Connecticut

Protective Order Against ''Victim''

My ex-girlfriend is stalking me because I tried to leave her. when I left her she called the cops and told them I hit her (which I didn't). I was arrested and the court orderd a PO. I don't want anything to do with this woman. Now she is stalking me trying to get me to go back with her and threatening me at the same time! I'm afraid I will end up in jail just because of her! The cops always believe the woman when it comes to domestic violence - but, believe me, she was the violent one during our relationship. Now, she's violent and stalking. Can I get a PO even though I have no concrete evidence of any wrongdoings by her?

If you feel she is endangering your safety and she is stalking you it should be possible for you to get a mutual PO against her. Feel free to contact me. 203.540.5228
