Legal Question in Family Law in Connecticut

i have a question, i filed for divorce and later my wife contested the divorce, and is currently asking for alimony because she believes that i owe her something, i went to my court date and her lawyer had a piece of paper that he made me sign, because she contested the divorce so the paper was to come to an agreement... i signed the paper and now i realize i propbably made a mistake. was i obligated to sign it or would it have been better off if i didnt...

I have no idea what you signed. No one can make you sign an agreement. If you signed it, you did so voluntarily. You may be able to reopen it (although this is difficult to do) if 4 months have not passed since the divorce.

If you only signed a "case management" agreement then that is just a document telling the court that the divorce is contested. It does not bind you in any way.
