Legal Question in Family Law in Connecticut
Refused to return child...
On Sunday I went to get my daughter at a neutral point we always meet at, I sat waiting for 20 minutes. When it was long enough I called my ex, he explained he left a message and emailed me but I never got the info. he demanded I go to his house to sit and talk about some concerns he had. I told him i had no gas that I could drive to his house. After several hang ups from him I went and an argument went on outside the house. In the end I could not get my daughter, left her there and by 7PM Torrington Police required him to return her to me. We have joint custody with primary residence with mom. Did he break the agreement? Currently owes 400.00 in child support. This is the reason for having no gas either. I called dcf regarding the treatment his wife gave me and him not feeding our daughter for supper and not bathing her. Due to the episode i have also placed her in counseling. Currently filed a contempt of court too.

You really need to consult with a good family attorney. Your question has too many tentacles to answer briefly.
