is my ex responsible for 1st mortgage if he still is on the mortgage note, I own the home, divorce decree states he is not responsible for making mtg payments...

If the divorce decree says he is not responsible for the mortgage payments then you can not enforce payment in the family court. However, the lender could seek the payments from him since he is still liable. The divorce decree does not bind the lender.
