Legal Question in Family Law in Connecticut

Spousal liability with debt after divorce

During my divorce there were debts incurred by myself and ex. I completely forgot about them and now that I still have the house and bailed out all of the other debts while he walked away and is living with his parents I am getting stuck have liens put on my house for these debts. Is there any way I can go after my ex for 1/2 of the remaining debts not divulged during the divorce. I even had to take out a 20,000 loan to pay back mortgage payments cause he did not pay that either but he took the credit for the interest on his tax return. My parents actually took out the money for me and it is really their money they lent me. They are paying the bank back the loan, can they go after him for 1/2 of that money also. It seems he walked away oweing nothing and I am still paying all the debt because he lives with his parents but makes good money and could pay these bills.

If a divorce decree has already been entered, then you must petition the court.
