Legal Question in Family Law in Connecticut
I am switching divorce attorney's, i need a really strong one, my husband's attorney sent me a nasty letter saying i am in contempt of the court order, which i am not, until i retain a new lawyer i still do have one, even though she really isn't doing much she wants more money, and i know she really does not want to deal with my husband's atty. does my husband's lawyer have a right to send the letter to my home? and also i had a sister of mine fax a motion for continuation for me to her office because she has a fax machine, my attorney never did it for me, my husband's lawyer called my sister yelling at her last Sunday, does she have a right to do that? she is very intimidating and she has a reputation and a loud mouth in family court, every atty. or court clerk makes a face when they ask me who the opposing atty. is..

Attorneys are not supposed to contact a party directly if that party is represented by an attorney. Since it appears from your question that you still had a lawyer when she mailed you the letter, she could be in violation of the ethics rules for contacting you directly.
If she is treating you badly, especially when you still have a lawyer, she could also be violating the rules of ethics by mistreating you verbally.
