trust funds

Hello, is there a way that I can keep my trust fund/ inheritance from my husband during a divorce, I heard that if it doesn't get into a joint account I may be able to keep it. I'm a stay at home mom and haven't worked in 10 years, I have not skills to enter the work force. Is there a differents if it's a trust Fund or inhertance?Thank you

It might depend on where the trust fund came from. Was it your parents, or a family member? Was it set up before or after marriage? They are usually treated same as inheritances, but I need a little more detail. Call or email me. No charge to talk.
