Legal Question in Family Law in Connecticut

My wife is pregnant by another man. she is about to give birth and im wondering if im gonna be held responsible for the baby. the real father doesnt wnt to be in the babys life but my wife wants him to be and doesnt want me held responsible but i dont know if im gonna be held responsible anyways..

You didn't say whether you will be filing for divorce. Nevertheless, you can request that a paternity test be done if the biological father denies paternity. If he doesn't deny paternity, then your wife will need to get court orders in place to force him to be responsible for the child.
