Legal Question in Family Law in Connecticut

Three years ago my ex wife and I got divorced. I wanted the divorce and she didn't hold it up. It's been pretty friendly for three years with one exception....In our divorce agreement it was agreed that we would split household items 50/50. We are all set on the house itself, child support and the such. This only pertains to household items (such as riding mower, snow blower, dining room set, etc). Bottom line is, that she gets all upset and refuses to "give" me anything from the house. This has been going on from day one. Do I have any recourse three years later to try and regain some of the household items (that were purchased by her and I during our 12 year marriage) Thank you.

You could file a motion with the court to order her to turn over one-half of the personal property, however, the issue will be what exactly do each of you get, unless it is listed in the final decree. If you can't agree after you file the motion, then I believe the court would decide.
