Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Connecticut

Car Buyer Rights

Was sold a car that the dealership is unable to find - even though i was promised the car in 3 days. Salesman has lied repeatedly that the car is 'on it's way' & then found out by general manager there was never a car found. I suspect they may be trying to get me to cancel the order. It's been almost 3 weeks now. What are my legal rights to this agreement? Do I have any leverage in getting this car? I gave a $500 deposit. Thanks.

Re: Car Buyer Rights

If you entered into an agreement for the sale of the car, you certainly have rights. Assuming it is a valid agreement you would have to look at the terms of the agreement. They will define the duties and obligation of the parties.
