dissolving an LLC in the mids of a lawsuit

If I am an LLC and am sued for an injury that occurred during the period of the LLC but after the dissolution of the LLC am I still protected with the same LLC rights?

There are statutes addressing the effect of dissolution on known and unknown claims against the llc. I advise you to consult an attorney to review such laws in light of the situation you have.
