Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Connecticut

investment agreement

About 6 years ago I invested $4000.00 with a small local record company with a written signed contract. I recieved no monies from this person. I wrote a letter and phoned him years ago with no response. Can i still get this money back? unfortuneatly i do not no where this person is. What is my best recourse . Thanks so much.
