legality of petition

Do originals of petitions need to be

submitted as opposed to copies, do they

need to be dated, does the petition

statement need to be on the top of each

page submitted, does the name of the

person who gathered the signatures need

to be on the petition. thank you

Not really sure what type of petition you are talking about (town meeting, etc. . . ) - but copies should be ok, but they may require original, yes date it, yes put statement on it and yes the person who gathered it should be on it. If not, it may not be fatal depending on the type of petition. Really needs more information to properly address this question.
