Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Connecticut

Libel litigation
A couple from Florida that my daughter was involved with about two years ago has been mailing nude pictures of her to the neighbors on our street. Our daughter is an adult(23)and is NOT living with us--the people in question know this. They have also sent nude pictures to me and my husband along with a note threatening that this will ''never go away''. They also sent an anonymous letter to our local police department stating that my husband and I were trafficking illegal drugs and running a prostitution ring from our home! Two detectives came to our home to question us about it. This nonsense has been going on for months and we feel we have no choice but to sue these people for libel to put an end to it. We (my husband and I) do not even know these people and have NEVER met them either! Please help us,we are at out wit's end! Thank you!

go to the police thjis is harrassment and the police will put a stop to it.
