Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Connecticut

Our neighbors have close to dead evergreen trees. These trees appear to be pretty dead, but the pine needles end up all over our lawn. I will cut down the overhang as I am allowed. But this will not solve the problem, as the needles end up on our property. I am not talking about a small amount, but large branches as well. These needles get on the bottom of our shoes, & by walking in the house they are all over. The neighbors are not very approachable. They even put up a fence, with the dead trees on the outside of the fence, so it appears that the trees belong to us.

If they won't do anything about the trees then you have to sue them.
