Settlement testimony
Can testimony evidence regarding prior settlement negotiations be used during a jury trial ?
If the answer is no , can a mistrial be granted in this kind of testimony was given by a witness ?

The question is not specific. It partly depends on when the settlement negotiations occurred and the substance of the statements.
