Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Connecticut

I have a Small Claims case against someone who owes me money. He has asked that I drop or withdraw the case. He claims that I can refile my case against him again at a later date. I can find no information about this in the Small Claims handbook. What are the ramifications of dropping a Small Claims case without resolution?

I don't know why you would want to drop it. You should tell him that you will withdraw it if he pays the money in full.
