Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Connecticut
Substitute Party Plaintiff
I had a gentlemen operating on my behalf through a Power of Attorney as property manager of a 3 family home in Bridgeport, CT that filed some eviction papers in his name. He has since been fired for stealing from me. I have been told that in order to continue the eviction proceedings, I need to file a substitute party plaintiff. Apparently there are no standard forms to accomplish this. What is required to do this, and who decides whether it is allowed?

The court wil decide. If you are the owner, attach proof. There are no standard forms, but the court is usually forgiving when it comes to pro se litigants
