Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Connecticut

This will be the third time I have asked this question. It does not seem that complicated of a question to me.

I am currently involved in a malpractice case involving an attorney. The attorney named in the case is represented by law firm A.

I have since found out that the attorney representing me is also involved in a suit and is also represented by law firm A, they are defending him.

Is this a conflict of interest? If the judge handling the case figures out my attorney is involved with law firm A both as a plantiff and defendant will he dimiss the case?

It may not seem that complicated of a question to you, but it is. I can not determine if there is a conflict because I do not have enough information. You should consult with a neutral attorney to see if a conflict exists.

Dismissal of the case is not the appropriate remedy and I don't believe a judge would do so. If, in fact, it is determined that a conflict exists, disqualification of one of the attorneys, (either yours or the defendant's attorney) is what I believe to be the appropriate remedy.
