Legal Question in Health Care Law in Connecticut
In Ct., is the surviving wife repsonsible for her husbands medical bills after he died? (just recently). There is no estate and she did not sign any agreement to pay the bills. Her only source of income is social security.

Probably not. In CT, there is always an estate procedure that must be filed with probate. If liabilities exceed assets and estate is insolvent, no liability for husband.
