Mom nursing home CT

mom transfered her house in CT to my brother and I 15 yrs ago and has lived there ever since. She now need nursing home can they take her house? She has 40,000 in the bank.

If I understand you correctly she gave you and your brother title to the house 15 years ago? Then the house is yours and can not be taken. However if you are talking about getting your mother on Title 19 then you need to "spend down" to protect any money in the bank. You should consult with an attorney.
