Legal Question in Immigration Law in Connecticut
i have an H1B petition which i used for 2 years, this edition was filed in 2006. and i was in uSA on H1B from 2007-Feb to 2009-May. Few days back my friend told me that H1B petition can be used for 6 years stay in USA. So i was Just curious, if i could reuse the petition.
My company had filed an extension for the visa in Mar-2009 but i had left US before the extension was approved.Later i knew that there was an RFE on extension, since i was not planning to back in US back then, i didm;t follow up.
it would be greatly helpful, if you could advise me in this regard.

You might be eligible for the "Remainder" option, but you still need a U.S. employer to file a new I-129 petition for you now.
