Legal Question in Immigration Law in Connecticut
I live outside the US, I planned for doing Masters this year and got my visa stamped during May-2014. Later I had a change of mind and decided to continue in my employment. Meanwhile, the petition that was processed by my employer got approved and I will be attending my H1B interview this week
1. Is it legal to attend two visa interviews in the same year? I haven't violated my F1 status by coming to the US and not attending classes. Please let me know if I'm not correct
2. In case the VO asks me why I did not use my F1, how should I respond to that question? My reason for not traveling for Masters was because I thought the H1B employment will best serve my career without interruption

I am not aware of any problem with applying for two visas in one year.
I would answer the questions truthfully.
