Legal Question in Immigration Law in Connecticut

I have lost my green card - need advice urgently

I live in the US and am a permanent resident - and have a UK passport. I was visiting UK this week and alas have lost my green card. I have my passport and a copy of the I485 document that was issued when my green card was approved. Would this be sufficient to get entry back into the US? Or if this is not certain, is there at least a chance that I may be allowed back in? I urgently need to travel asap. Many thanks in advance for your help.

Hi,

You would need to file I-90 right away and have your passport stamped accordingly, you will carry the filing receipt and stamp and this way will be allowed to enter.

Hope this helps, feel free to call with any questions. 619-819-9204
