Legal Question in Insurance Law in Connecticut

My step-daughter (17) let a friend borrow her car. The friend lied and said he had a license. He oly had a permit. He totaled her car. Is he liable?

You can certainly try to recover your damages. As far as insurance is concerned, you would have to look to the terms of the policy itself. If the policy does not cover it, or there are problems with the coverage, then you can go after the child and his parents in civil court.
