Salary-Exempt employees covering hourly production during strike

If salary exempt employees are forced to cover the production duties of hourly workers who are on a legal strike, are the salary exempt employee entitled to the overtime pay if forced to work more then 40 hrs? What are the legal obligation(s) of the employer in this situation?

Re: Salary-Exempt employees covering hourly production during strike

If you are performing what have been defined as your responsibilities as a salaried employee then you are not entitled to overtime. If you are acutally filling a position that is a hourly position then you may be entitled to over time.
