Termination due to illness

Can my employer terminate my employment because I have been diagnosed with an illness that will be very expensive for the health insurance they carry on employees?

If you feel you have been discriminated against because you have an illness, then you are protected under the law. An employer cannot discriminate amongst its employees. You may have the right to sue for this discrimination if you can prove discrimination.
