Vacation Time

I was recently denied a vacation day that is due to me. The reason given was I was only able to take my vacation time when my employer does. Is this legal?

It depends upon the company's vacation pay policy. If the refusal to permit you the day was in violation of the policy you may have a claim. Also, if the company is refusing to pay you for an accrued day that was not used, there may be a wages and hours claim.
