Legal Question in Employment Law in Connecticut

Workplace discrimanation

i am a waitress, i feel that i am being discriminated. my bosses favor certain people over others. They give those people better sections, more table, and more people every shift. usually by the end of the night they have twice as many people and twice as much sales and make twice as much money. i was also told that i could not sit at the bar after i was done with my shift , eventhough other coworkers are allowed to do so on a daily basis. i have spoken up about the unfairness and it has made it worse. Can they do that? Do i have any legal grounds with discrimation or harrassement or anything else? Thanks!!

Re: Workplace discrimanation

It depends on the reason they are treating you differently from other employees. If it is an illegal reason you may have a case.
