Do i need an attorney to get rid of a 9,000 dollars debt that a landlord put on my credit report when actually i was the secondary person on the lease?

It would likely help to have an attorney. However no attorney can wave a magic wand and remove that from your credit report unless it qualifies as a violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act, which may be a strong possibility.
