Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Connecticut
In Connecticut what is the process to evict and collect back rent from a commercial tenant (international franchise) and their subtenant. The lease allows rent to be paid by subtenant(currently in default), however prime responsibility is the Lessee.

You have to evict a commercial tenant as you would a residential tenant. You must name as defendants the tenant and any party that has sublease rights. You can't get a money judgment from the housing court and would have to seek it in the Superior Court. It sounds like a little bit of a mess, you should strongly consider hiring an attorney.
