Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Connecticut
How Many Days In Advance Must A Landlord Give Notice?
How many days must a landlord give notice on something concerning tenats? My landlord gave me a one day notice. I had an old car parked in my parking spot, and had called for someone to come and tow the car. The towing company could not come before 1pm, so the landlord had the car towed because he wanted it moved by 10 am and is now trying to charge me $150.00. He is threatening not to renew my lease if I don't pay the $150.00. He did not give me ample time to move the car, he acts like everyone has to do things in his timing. I am wondering if I may have a legal case against him.
