If your mother is going through the court process to evict you, you have the right to defend against the eviction and work out a possilbe remedy through housing court. It may be worth retaining an attorney to help you slow the process and maybe negotiate a settlement with your mother.

You should go down to the housing court in your district and speak with a clerk. Although they can not give you legal advice they can show you what to file to defend yourself. You do not necessarily need an attorney although it is always best to have one.
