Do we have to have a Notice to Quit form delivered by a sheriff and does it need to be noterized?

A Notice to quit does not have to be served by a Marshall however it does need to be served by an indifferent person. It does not have to be notarized but it must comform with CGS Section 47a-23 and case law. Connecticut Summary Process Law is hypertechnical and unless you have extensive experience in this area, hiring an attorney would be a wise investment.
