Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Connecticut
Landlord-Tenant responsibilties
Today I recieved a phone call from my landlords insurance company and they stated that our landlord is trying to make us pay a $4000 bill for a broken pipe. We finally had to call the city to force our landlord to get a pressure test done to get the gas turned on during the winter, the bill is from a pipe that was leaking into her apartment the same day we finally got the gas on. Should we get a lawyer and fight this? Isn't this her responsiblity? the $4000
