I live in CT and am currently renting a condo. My lease is up in October 2009- My finace asked my landlord via email on Thursday if we found a new rent sooner then Oct, would she let us out early (she told us last week she needs to sell it to her brother) and in her email she said ''absolutly''.. Is this a legal binding agreement? B/c now she is saying no we have to stay till Oct?

That's questionable. Generally, if an agreement concerns real estate it must in writing and be signed. My guess is that an email is not "signed" so it may not be enforceable in this situation. You should consult with an attorney.
