tenant's car being towed from my property

My tenant has abandoned her car (she also left without notice) on my property. Do I have the legal right to tow it?

Re: tenant's car being towed from my property

Unfortunately, I don't think there is a very clear answer to your question. Therefore, I would think that if you make reasonable efforts to notify the former tenant that she has to come and get the car and give her a reasonable time to do it, and she doesn't, I think you can then have it towed.

If you don't know where she is, then I think you need to make reasonable efforts to find her and if you can't then you can have the car towed.

I can't guarantee that this means you are in the clear, however.
